Off duty time for Nike Hercules Missile Soldiers

The soldier station in Nike Hercules missile site enjoyed their off time in the local near by towns. One of the favorites was Boppard up on the Rhein river. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boppard

Soldiers would travel to nearby Bacharach and Simmern and other towns to enjoy their time off.

    My deceased husband Paul Jackson was stationed there in 1965/66. He was deployed to Vietnam in 1966. Passed away from AO in 2019 at the age of 81.

    Of him dying of various cancers in 2019 resulting from AO at the age im 81.
